Integrat-ESG is making constant efforts to improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use for those of us with disabilities.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are a set of rules and best practices designed to make websites and digital content easier to use for people with disabilities.
WCAG helps make sure that everyone, including people who are blind, deaf, or have mobility or learning difficulties, can access and use websites properly.
These guidelines cover things like:
- Making text readable for screen readers
- Ensuring good colour contrast for people with visual impairments
- Letting users navigate with a keyboard instead of a mouse
- Adding captions to videos for those who are hard of hearing
They were created by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the same organisation that helps shape how the internet works.
So when a website „follows WCAG,” it means it’s trying to be inclusive and usable by all, no matter someone’s abilities.
