The ESG Curriculum and E-Learning Course provide a structured educational framework to support VET providers and business managers in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into business practices.
The curriculum is designed around six to ten self-paced learning modules, covering key ESG integration aspects, such as:
- Awareness: Understanding basic ESG concepts, their history, and relevance to sustainable development.
- Vision and Strategy: Establishing ESG objectives, priorities, and alignment with organisational structures.
- Frameworks and Regulatory Requirements: Introducing key ESG frameworks, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Global Impact Reporting (GIR).
- Implementation: Practical steps for integrating ESG into business operations, such as data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Ensuring credibility in ESG reporting and addressing challenges like greenwashing.
The curriculum is hosted on an interactive e-learning platform, ensuring accessibility and adaptability across different national and industry contexts. A self-assessment quiz accompanies each module to measure learning outcomes.
To ensure its effectiveness, the curriculum undergoes piloting workshops in five EU countries, engaging 75 VET providers and business managers. Feedback from these workshops helps refine the course content, making it practical, inclusive, and aligned with real-world needs.
